What was your latest book discovery? What are your favorite books of all time?
I recently finished The Society of Singularities - On the Structural Transformation of Modernity by Andreas Reckwitz - a sociological study about our post-modern society and how it praises individuality and pseudo-authenticity.
Generally, I love prose from the early 20th century by authors like Thomas Mann, Franz Kafka and others.

What apps do you use the most and why?
Instagram - like most visual artists. This remains a great source of inspiration and probably the easiest way to connect with other artists around the globe
Snapchat - yes, still. I actually do most of the daily communication with my girlfriend - who lives some distance away in Austria - via Snapchat

Fresh movie finds? What films do you think everybody should watch?
I love the Coen Brothers movies, especially Big Lebowski, Fargo and No Country For Old Men and the visual storytelling of Wes Anderson. Apart from that and my fav classics (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Naked Gun) I like the stories that Éric Rohmer and Woody Allen tell
Which artists working today do you admire most?
Some weeks ago I'd probably have said Karl Lagerfeld, but as it is "working today" and being alive I have to say Mick Jagger.
What are some of your tv top tips right now?
I do not watch a lot of TV these days, mainly news & sports (soccer).

I'm also collecting vintage copies of German magazine Twen (1950s - 1960s) which featured groundbreaking photography, layout and progressive contents
What are your favorite gadgets?
Probably my vintage 1950s city bike with its whitewall tires - produced by Torpedo Werke Frankfurt. They're other product were typewriters - quite an unusual combination. They stopped production in 1967
