Emilie Bobek is a Danish sculpture and installation artist who graduated from Gerrit Rietveld Academy last year. Now she is situated in Copenhagen, Denmark, but works and teaches internationally. Her main material is clay, which she uses to experiment and push the ceramic boundaries, in order to reflect upon the meaning of man-made objects. She is the founder of Artsign, together with the Danish/Icelandic furniture designer Josephine Andredottir. They create in the space between art and design and question what that can be and look like today.
